The FLEOA Foundation Scholarship Program

The FLEOA Foundation is pleased to announce that we are offering scholarships to high school seniors entering college in the Fall 2015.

Who is eligible?

The High School Class of 2015 graduates who are children of current, retired, or deceased members of the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association.

How to Apply:

When applying by US Mail only REGULAR first class mail will be accepted. Return Receipt, Express or Priority Mail requiring a signature will NOT be accepted and will be returned. Please mail typed application and all required documents to:

Application and All required documents must be RECEIVED by June 30, 2015.

Required Documents:

1. A completed typed Scholarship Application.
2. A copy of your final 4 year high school transcript with class ranking.
3. SAT and/or ACT test scores.
4. Reference letters that support your Community Service activities.
5. Copy of the acceptance letter from a college or university you will attend.

Selection Process:

The FLEOA Foundation Scholarship Committee will independently review and rank each application. Scholarships will be awarded based on a combination of: Scholastic ability- SAT/ACT and GPA; Community Service, employment, clubs and organizations.

Special consideration will be given to those applicants who are the children of federal law enforcement officers killed or disabled in the line of duty. Applicant hardship and disabilities may also receive special consideration at the discretion of the Scholarship Committee.

Type of Awards: The scholarship program will be limited to a one time grant of $500 or $1,000.

Notification of results: Will be emailed to all applicants by August 1, 2015.

*Failure to submit all required documents will result in disqualification of the application.
