Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond Tierney is presented the F.L.E.O. Foundation Prosecutor of the Year award.
On September 28, 2024, the F.L.E.O. hosted its annual S. Florida awards ceremony. Foundation Executive Director John Bottone emcee’d the event, and President Jon Adler provided opening remarks and discussed specific cases of support rendered by the Foundation. Foundation Director of Communications Wendy Cheung did a great job overseeing the event logistics.
Retired ATF Deputy Assistant Director Pete Forcelli provided a riveting keynote address and also donated signed copies of his best seller book, The Deadly Path. John Ramsey and Kattya Lopez presented the distinguished awards, and President Adler made a special presentation for Dr. Jean Kanokogi. Dr. Kanokogi, who is recovering from brain surgery to remove a 9/11 related cancerous tumor, received the Law Enforcement Guardian of the Year award.
